I use 3 x 2 litre empty still water bottles with their bases removed. These fit perfectly with the pop bottle hatchery kits supplied by TA Aquacutlure UK.

My fish room is maintained at 78°f.  We fill the bottles 2/3 full with water that has been prepaired to room temperature and has been dechlorinate. Holding approximately 1.5 litres in each. We add to this 1.5 teaspoons of cooking salt and one teaspoon full of Brine Shrimp Eggs.

The eggs hatch in approximately 22 - 26 hours. I am very pleased with the results so far and run at least 2 bottles each day.

The brine shrimp is fed twice daily, directly after dry feed. I continue to feed the fry until approximately 3 - 4 months of age. I also feed the adult fish on any surplus shrimp.

I am attempting to Bio-encapsulate Naupii. I would not say I have successfully mastered the best way to achieve this at present. If you attempt to Bio-encapsulate the Naupii. It is important to remember the baby shrimp carry a Yoke sac for a further 18-20 hours it is at this point that one would attempt to gut load the shrimp prior to feeding your Guppies.
